I tried using priceline once, nothing came out of it, I've never tried again.

What is the best deal you've got using priceline?
I post on GFY so that when people ask me what I do,
I can tell them that I work with the mentally retarded.

Got 3 Economy-Plus tickets to Miami, from Omaha for about $215 a ticket a few weeks back, and I booked the tickets 2 days before we left.

You can throw together a pretty cheap vacation package if you purchase a ticket using "Name Your Own Price" on Priceline, a hotel room at Travelocity or Hotels.com, and then a rental car (if necessary) at Orbitz.

I use priceline all the time and have gotten a ton of great deals. I get rental cars for $15/day, four start hotel rooms for $60/night and have gotten some great flight deals. My suggestion is check out biddingfortravel.com first before you use priceline. Its a forum of priceline users that post what they paid for certain services throughout different cities. You can look up your city and see what other successful bids were for what you want to do that way you don't over bid.

Yup, but also at Priceline, if you make a LOW BALL offer like $50, it'll say your bid was declined, and then it should reveal the lowest they're willing to go.

It says that they go up to 40% off the book price, but I got my tickets for 59% off.
