I have no use for that domain.

I wouldnt be surprised if somebody already over bid the required 9k. I have seen those 2 letter domains sell way higher then that.

I was complicating buying it then selling it for profit. But I dont know the market for these domains very well and with my luck I will be stuck with a $9k xi.com

If I had more money to throw around I would have attempted to buy it without hesitation.

I just dont understand how they value these domains.

For example:

http://www.sedo.co.uk/main.php3?language=e

Under Top Domains

sq.com asking price $990,000 (Good Luck with that)

Under Featured Domains

xi.com asking price $8,999

That is a huge difference and they both are 2 letter domains. Hell I think xi.com is even a better 2 letter combo.
