950 million internet users - where do all the sales come from?

Now its impossible to guess but just a small percentage of those people would buy a membership to whatever site. Filter out the women/kids/people who dont surf or pay for porn and you dont have too many people left.

Now i wonder how many daily memberships to adult sites are sold...its got to be a lot! 10.000's a day.

You would think that within 6 months youve reached all the potential clients and that they bought something. Obviously thats not the case but it just keeps on amazing me.

The latest figure I've heard and I think its close to the number is about 125,000 adult program signups per day.

Holy shit, thats almost 1 million a week. How many buyers are there? There has to be more than 100 million out of those 950 to justify these numbers. But i dont believe 10% of all internet surfers buy adult memberships, that number sounds too high to me.

5 doing 1,000 signups / rebills = 5,000

10 doing 500 signups / rebills = 5,000

50 doing 100 signups / rebills = 5,000

100 doing 50 signups / rebills = 5,000

500 doing 25 signups / rebills = 12,500

1000 doing 10 signups / rebills = 25,000

2,000 doing 5 signups / rebills = 10,000

5,000 doing 3 signups / rebills = 15,000

10,000 doing 2 signups / rebills = 20,000

10,000 doing 1 signup / rebill = 10,000

That gives you about 112,000. And then toss in another 10k for the misc and you're there.

Almost every guy with an internet connection has looked at online porn, a good percent of woman too (the guys from extreme paychecks mentioned in an analdestruction.com vid that ~50% of their members are woman, no clue if that statement was true).

Also many people seem to have memberships at up to 10 sites.It always amazes me too how many people are willing to pay for monthly memberships but it's like that and it's good

I think you're wrong on that one. It seems fairly likely to me that the group with the biggest online representation is men from 14-44. Out of the 950 million total surfers, 300 million of them being adult men doesn't seem all that unlikely.

Let's say that the % of adult men who actually buy memberships is 2%, and let's assume for a moment that those who have memberships average 1/2 sale a month (that's a membership half the time).
Even then you get about 100k memberships a day (including rebills).

I think that isn't all that much... in fact, it leaves a lot of room for growth.

yeah I'm wondering about that as well sometimes. But you gotta think of the people that just started with the internet, who just got their first computer, or will get in the future...every day there enter thousands of new users the world of internet! As long as their are future generations, there will be a market

oh no doubt compared to many of them quality adult sites are extremely cheap + they give a trial to see what's going on. The problem seems to be that bad paysites (which are the majority) ruin things.
