    $75 Business Card Design Contest

    Happy Friday everyone. Ok, looking for ideas for a new business card for our parent company, eDimensional. (www.eDimensional.com) Definitely want to give it an exciting, but professional virtual reality feel to it. You can download an EPS of our logo from

          Yeah I was going to do that, but it's our original logo from a few years ago and it's on so much material (in magazines, on our 10s of thousands of units, posters, etc) that we can't change it much at this point. Feel free to give it a little boost in the business card if you like.

                      I've seen what designers on this board have come up with for other people and I would certainly guarantee that we'll find a winner here.

                                      I like several in that thread. I like the more simple ones, less busy. With yours in particular, I wasn't really into the cartoonish feel for my needs. Also, no girls on the cards.

                                          I paid $50 to have my card designed and it looks great. The designer gave me about 4 versions to choose from and I could make any corrections I wanted. Just find a designer you like and pay them. They'll work with you. It doesn't really take that long to design a business card.

                                              Thanks for the advice. I tried that here once already with a well known person on this board. They took over a week and finally said their designer didn't end up coming up with anything good and apologized, still leaving me stuck. So I figure open it up to a everyone at the same time because we need it quickly and I know that people here produce good work.

                                                      Thanks for the entry, although this isn't doing it for me. I'd probably need at least 5-10 entries to guarantee I'd get one good one.

                                                                                  I'm not bothering to enter this contest unless a moderator get the prize money sent to a paypal account to guarantee that someone will get paid.

                                                                                  If you only get a couple of entries then it's because nobody wants to fuck around anymore. If you only get one entry it's because everyone thinks your prize money is shit or that you will not pay and flake like a bitch if you don't "like" the designs.

                                                                                  I've never seen a contest where there were no acceptable entries but if people keep flaking on picking a wainner and paying then guess how many good designers are goning to give a shit about your contest...none!

                                                                                  If your logo or business card is going to make or break your biz then your biz is shit anyway. So just pick the best one and use it and pay the winner.

                                                                                                                                                                                          Maybe you are right, but what if a couple designers enter just because of the fun and if they win it's an extra? Besides, most of the business cards shown here are not really suited for printing at all.... but that's just my 2cts
