Also, the other day I had a guy asking if we offer discounts for people from Eastern Europe because people there couldn't afford 30 bucks a month. When I told him that we have many paying members from Eastern European countries and that we don't offer discounts based on location he called me a 'fuckin asshole'

And then the continuous brute force password hacking attempts and people trying to cheat by using a single-user license on several computers in several countries at the same time... etc...

I know there are people that just don't want to spend money for a software like StatsRemote and that's fine. But then please just don't use it and don't try hacking and don't insult me if I don't give you a discount.

Well I'd expect brute force attempts from surfers (trying to crack porn sites), but webmasters should know better. Hopefully you're using a service that bans IPs for brute force attempts.

One thing I've learned about customers is there are some out there that will never be happy no matter what you do. Even if your service was perfect in every way, they would still email you complaining about something and not want to pay.

You would be surprised how many brute force attempts we had in the last 2 1/2 years. Some people even do it from their own IP and then they wonder why their IP is blocked when they finally buy StatsRemote and it doesn't work

Anybody who really makes money with sponsors should be able to afford 30 bucks a month, eastern european or not.If you're a small webmaster you don't need it anyway.If you're a bigger webmaster who regulary want to check stats of 50+ programs it's for you, otherwise an excel spreadsheat is enough.

There are always lots of retards out there you just have to get used to it

Well, I usually do that but it's kind of hard if somebody contacts you anonymously... and I doubt he would pay $300 in advance for a year if $30 a month is too much for him...
