Thatīs right. I really donīt know who you are and that is the problem of those boards and thatīs a pity. So you are somehow right with your comparison between boards and real life.
Iīm sure we could discuss very well meeting in real life.
But i think even on a board and even if you donīt know somebody - or especially if you donīt know him or her personally - you should treat the person with respect.
