keep ANY page under 100K less the thumbs or you will be ass-raped if Hun or Richards or PK pick it up.

keep thumbs under 10, and pics under 40 and you'll be OK

Keep in mind that your thumbs and your selling text will be the first thing that loads ... if they are done well, the surfer/reviewer will have already decided that he wants to let your 300K page load ... even if on dialup

At least this formula works for me.

Some people's scripts are an entirely different matter though...
I usually delete a site with TOO MANY rules pretty quickly.
Most sites with decent productivity only have rules that are needed, where as a site with tons of (useless)rules means the owner has a small penis, and needs to make rules to prove he is important.

there are a number of tgp's out there that will not accept a gallery with pics under 40k (the large pics).
