dont think its a gold mine, there is nothing like cheap when you advertise
if you convert for example 1:500 with some sponsor on a gallery traffic(hun), remember thats targetted traffic and the same site will convert 1:1500 on banner traffic(hun). And the CTR is also not as great, so if you dont make more than $500 from the first gallery spot, you wont make profit from a banner placement.
