End of Visa for Jettis EU clients

You probably know Jettis lost the ability to process Visa transactions for EU clients at the end of November. They've been trying since to find an alternative solution (ie new bank). After 7 weeks of trying they've failed, and are going to cancel all members next week for EU clients who paid by Visa. So EU clients with Jettis lose all Visa rebills.

Why are Jettis having this problem when Ibill and CCBill are still able to process Visa trans for EU clients? And why did Jettis not have a back-up plan in place for when problems like this occur? Do Jettis have a back-up plan in the US for similar problems?

It looks like bad management and bad planning at Jettis.

Well, at least you don't have to worry that they won't have any reserves! They have been holding my reservers for 14 months (!) now..

Jettis turned out to be one big disappointment. .

Forgot about that. They owe me about $30,000 in reserves for the past year+

We were strongly considering Jettis for a while, glad we didn't go with them. I forget which site, but they were the main processor for a major paysite.

Incorrect. We are not canceling all Visa EU members and we have certainly not "failed" to secure an alternate EU solution. While we do not currently have this option available we are continuing to work with multiple providers to secure a solution for our EU clients. Sad but true, nothing moves quickly in the banking world, however we are fully confident that we will be successful in our efforts and will once again be offering Visa EU.

That said, we have discussed alternative options for the Visa members of our EU clients and will be communicating these to clients next week. The choice will be theirs, not ours.

Any questions can be directed to [email protected].

                Good news!

I believe, in fact, we just deposited some checks from Jettis for our Visa EU rebills just a few days ago.

Hope you get a EU solution for Visa. Of all the processors operating over there, Jettis has always approved the most transactions, and made us the most money.

                  John,

Are you saying that Visa members of EU clients will get rebilled, after not being rebilled since November?

Is there hope of EU clients being able to accept Visa cards again?

If the answer to either of these questions is yes, you may like to speak to Jennifer at Jettis. My original post was using statements which she had said to me by telephone last week.

The contradictory statements are making this already farcical situation even worse.

I believe the problem is only for EU clients/merchants - not your site's members if you are outside of the EU. So, as you are in Canada, you will not experience these problems.
