I have not done business with you, don't know if I will in the future, don't know if there's anything you or I need from each other.
But I will say that people should take "board personas" into consideration when conducting business, especially if it's a persona that directly conflicts with the "real persona."
Not saying yours does just addressing this.
I don't want to do business with someone who is either real on the board and fake in person or vice versa. I want to deal with people who conduct themselves as what? Business people.
I think if someone's board persona thrives on drama, then something tells me that in real life they probably thrive on drama as well and honestly that's not something I need in my life.
I've done business with those types in the past and guess what it got me? Drama.
They usually ended up being a spoiled prissy little drama queen who bitched and demanded through almost every step of the process.
And just because people will do business with someone who is prone to drama on the boards does not justify that behavior or prove anything. It only shows that these people put money first, as I guess most would including myself.
Now Joe..this is not pointed at you because I don't know you from Adam and think it is kind of silly to judge someone who you really don't know...however if we're only allowed to see one side of the coin we don't have much info to draw on.....anyway just addressing the whole board persona issue and this has been pretty much my similar response in the past.
