So what are you going to use to get your HDTV channels? I heard voom (or varoom or something like that) satellite has a ton of HD channels, but the service is kind of lame. There's DirectTV if you get the hd dish, and then you could get hooked up with the HD-Tivo. That would be bad ass.

I was having a bad day last month and went ahead and purchased one of these on sale from Best Buy. I would recommend getting a better stand for it. I was going to get the 60 but got the 50 instead.

Here's a standard signal ( looks better in person )... but the HD stuff is night and day.
Visually it's the difference of looking at a TV, compared to looking at a window to another reality. The HD stuff is really amazing. Oh and video games rock on this thing too!
