I got to get my ass over there one day. My friend who moved here from the Gold Coast is constantly telling me to go with him. He lived there for about 18 months after he left South Africa. He loved it so much.
He still has an amazing house over there so all I'd need is a flight and I'm sorted!Comment

im just staying in a backpackers place, in surfers, whelan street. i dont really know where i am now, i tihnk im on beach street or something like that. im here on my own now, my mate is arriving tomorrow morning, were here till thursday, so hopefully we can catch up with people after the meet.Comment

yeah it has internet, on a compaq so old im not sure if its a 386 or 486, and the connection is so slow, i think its33.6k or less. not to mention that it takes about a minute to open IE, thats why i came to the cafe. I wasnt let in to the place i booked because i didnt have a passport. but why the fuck would i bring a passport if im not leaving the country, so i walked around, second place said the same, then i found this place. its pretty average, but its in my price range and they arent being assholes about documentation.
thanks heaps for the offer but i have to pass. my mate gets in at 4:50am tomorrow and im going to try to wake up to meet him, and then surfive the 11.5 hour day we have tomorrow. i need my sleep, ill be in bed by 10 hopefullyComment
