                      Most Shoutcast stations suck... They never update their playlists, so you hear the same tracks over and over again.

                      Btw, Shoutcast ripper is awesome... Nothing is easier than download an .mp3 than getting it from a Shoutcast station.

                          The ripper great, but it true that it's same tunes over and over that's true. Atleast it was it when I listened a lot some months ago.

                          Been awhile since I've been there, tried the other day and actually got a message that it was
                          overloaded and I needed to try another day.....

                              Out of at least 5,200 stations listed on Shoutcast, only 11 are cd-quality. Five @ 256 and six @ 320.

                              And I'm guessing none of these are streaming AAC files either.

                                  We used to do shoutcash radio stations back in IRC. One guy would put on a show all the time, give away prizes and such. Was a really good time.
