    Most likely saying it's a faked set, and this is a numbered rock that was accidentally flipped over. (All rocks in set like this would be numbered and mapped out beforehand to plan the look of "authenticity".)

                go look at apollo images, there are 'numbered rocks' there as well.

                and why the hell would you need the rocks numbered anyways? you'd just toss them out on the floor, who needs numbering?

                            i'd concede to that, no doubt, but mostly because of the government's highly inefficient way of doing things. there's no reason to place every single 3inch rock about a landspace, i doubt movie directors do that in most cases (and it is like a big movie set).

                            but do you honestly think that something as widely publicised as the 'evidence' for faked moon landings - something that happened over 30 years ago - and has been so widely circulated as that, they'd make that mistake again?

                            doubtful. but you'd better get your tinfoil hat just in case. i'm sure you're a very firm believer in the faked apollo missions, yes?

Not that I can really think of one that would make much sense, it's there clear as day on Nasa's own website. If they get rid of those images I'll put on a tinfoil hat because something's not right.

Makes you kinda wonder . . . but Occam's Razor says the simplest solution is usually correct and it's far simpler to say we really did send and land the Rover's on Mars. Those numbers got me scratching my head, though

                                                                                                                                                        Some hacker that works for a phone sex company hacked into the rover's uplink and then instructed the rover's onboard laser to burn a 976 number into the rock. He used the wrong size font though so he couldn't fit it on that rock and just used it to practice writing some numbers out till the rover gets near a bigger rock.

                                                                                                                                                        First phone sex number advertised on Mars. Can you imagine the call counts on that puppy!!! Weeee Hawwww.
