First 3 pics you posted -- The lighting is wrong. You need to take the shine off your face as well, just a gentle dab with a dry towel would do it. Then try using two lights, one off to each side, have one of them angled in to backlight you better, and tip the other one up and bounce the light off the ceiling. I like to use a 500W halogen for this :D
4th pic you posted -- not bad. Still could be a bit better lit but it's looking good from where I sit. It's the best one so far.
As for you, I think you look pretty good.
