Everything about quicktime sucks... Crap player, format, compression and pushed on you from a crappy company. If you've ever installed it you can get back some of your memory by opening task manager and killing qttask.exe.. You don't need it. Get used to it though, every time you reboot it will start and the player will edit your registry to add it to startup everytime you play a video...
At least the Real Video's format has good compression. Just use 'Real Alternative'
