Offshore Clicks Banned On The Huns
Well another Banning of a another sponsor by the Hun. This is from the Huns Main page.
The warning goes out again. There are some very tricky programs out there that try to change your homepage, auto install 6 dollar/minute dialers and add bookmarks. The worst of 'em all is a program called "offshoreclicks". If you're trapped in one of their consoles it's best to shut off your machine and reboot. People like that ruin the fun of surfing the Internet. All links are heavily screened before they are placed on the Yellow Pages, but some pathic kids think that if they add the consoles after their link goes up on the Yellow Pages, they'll get away with it. Wrong. They're blacklist immediately. Funny thing is that with their couple of minutes of cheating (that's how long it takes bad links like these are detected and taken down) cost 'em ours of building a gallery, submitting, waiting for the screening, and makes 'em hardly any money in those couple of minutes. If they'd put a page up with some decent advertising they probably would have made more. Ah well...
Anyway, this leaves us with the problem of dealing with these childish kids. I can assure everybody here: I'm on the problem. And I'm constantly updating my robot software to make sure cheaters will be taken care off swiftly and without doing any harm. In the mean time, please make sure sites like offshoreclicks are unable to reset your browser's homepage or add bookmarks and other crap. There are instructions on this site (just click here) to prevent people from changing your browsersettings. And make sure you installed the latest MicroSoft bugfixes for Internet Explorer. Happy... and safe... Hunning!
