    Good US lawyer for domain transfer issues?

    Hello,

    I am in trouble with me previous hosting company.

    Since I started moving my sites to a new host, they try
    everything possible, to stop me moving my 20 domain names.

    Now i am in need of a good lawywe, who is bale to take
    care for my rights.

    The hosting company is based in the US, I am from Europe.

    Any recommendations?

              You can't log in to itsyourdomain.com and juts change the name servers & technical contact info?

                      Sounds like one of those dealio's where they registered them for you (like the old days) and now they have complete control.

                              If they registered them, then they are theirs not his.

                              But I investigated a little -- they look to be his & under "ItsYourDomain.com" .... unless ItsYourDomain is also doing the hosting, I fail to see what the problem is.....

                              log into your ItsYourDomain account & change your nameservers... Done.

                                  Drop this name..

                                  Susanne Marie Whatley - Lawyer works for Werdell & Hanson In Medford oregon.

                                  Tell them you have consulted susanne and she has agreed to take on the case. Tell them she is a prominent lawyer on the internet, and if it goes to court you will be seeking punitive damages for downtime.

                                  Refer them to lawyer.com for credentials.

                                  Tell them you dont have time to play games and if they do not wish to co-operate they can consider themselves served.

                                  Tell them the next correspondence will be via a C&D order from your lawyer.

                                      Companies wont usually try to hold your domains hostage unless (they think) you owe them money....

                                      Who are they and why won't you pay them?

                                              Very true, If i brought my car to a mechanic and they were halfway thru fixing it and i decided i wanted to switch to a different shop, i dont think i would be getting my car back until i paid them for the work.

                                              But then again this isnt a car and they arent yor mechanic.
