Over every major American city because all the small town doctors have been bullied, scared and terrorized out of performing abortions. Even in Ashland, Oregon, population 20,000, we had an abortion clinic arson fire a couple of years ago. Most girls in America have to travel a distance now to get an abortion, a simple and relatively easy legal medical procedure, complicated now by the expense and time of travel on top of the mental anquish of having an abortion in the first place. I consider the doctors who continue to perform abortions heroic for continuing on, despite obvious risks of premature death, societal distain, and harrassment.
