    My Leaky Roof

How do I get My landlord to fix my leaking roof. It only happens once yearly, and is probably a damp proplem. I like living here and I dont want to leave. He asked me why I hadnt paid the rent rise. He knows about the leak.
Anyone with advise, before I go downsatirs and kill him?

Depends upon your state, country etc laws...but if it's a real issue and your landlord refuses to fix it in most cases by law you can fix it and deduct it off your rent.

I would not suggest just not paying rent or the increase unless you take steps at notifying him in ways that you can prove ..for example sending a certified letter etc.

You can also look up on google renters rights in your state, country etc...you might even have an orginzation like legal aid that is either free or charges based upon a sliding fee scale *according to your earnings* that can help you.
