Agreed. I used to own a couple of Dunkin Donuts franchisee's and it basically just wasn't worth the aggrevation, especially when you see what you make for putting up with the craziness. Franchisors like Subway must provide you with a prospectus with what you are getting yourself into...when you show interest, and it clearly shows that you are basically buying yourself a shit full-time job as you cannot make money (for the average volume franchise) if you don't work there yourself or if you don't have multiple locations.
