2000 GB a month? It depends on your traffic paterns look like, and how you're being billed...but between $400 and $600 would be a fair price for bandwidth.

Depends if you're doing 95 percentile at a 7mbit average, or paying per gig of actual use. I'd say between $450 - $550.

For mass traffic (Galleries, avs, TGPs) I would pay max $300 with standard dedicated servers. For critical traffic more depending on uptime required.

So the minimum amount I shoud be paying is $450 (unmanaged, I assume) and the maximum should be $600 (I guess this would be for a fully managed server)!

              Thanks

                $300 for 2TB a month, on dedicated?

No, the pricing variation is dependant on the quality of the bandwidth you are looking for and for how you want it measured (Actual or 95th percentile). Mind you, you could most likely pick up a 10mbit box for 600$ that is fully managed - very easily.

If you're looking for non-mission critical hosting, check out ServerMatrix. They go as low as $69 for 1TB traffic a month, including a dedicated box. All semi-unmanaged ofcourse.

For you, that would be 2 boxes, 2TB traffic for $138 a month. Enjoy

are two big players that are good for mass traffic.

If you need multiple servers a good idea might be to spread out among the big player and make sure that they don't host in the same datacenter. That way if one goes down for long you can easily transfer to the other.

Your original question is for bandwidth only.

For good quality bandwidth only, you should be paying $600
server is extra. Managed services are extra. Colo fees extra, if you have your own server. But for bandwidth only thats about right.

$150/month for managed services and a decent server is not realistic, btw.
