I'm doing research for a large client regarding webmaster incentives for an upcoming.

To research the proper mix of incentives/rewards/prizes, I am conducting open discussions re INCENTIVE PACKAGES for webmaster affiliates.

Which prize packages would you be interested in:

Performance based prizes (you have to sell an easy to reach amount of sales to qualify):

1 Hummer H3 SUV
1 Harley Davidson motorcyle
10 trips to the orient
3 5000 cash orizes
100 Microsoft X Boxes
500 cd players

Lower Performance based prizes: al l you need to do is sign up and send MINIMAL sales for the affiliate program

If the sponsor you're talking about is a reliable one wich can guarantee not to shave and have a good payout, i don't need a Hummer or a Harley Davidson, really.

But an XBOX is always nice to get, right?

What i'm saying is that a small thing like an XBOX would do much more for me then giving me a Hummer.

I'd me more inclined to believe that the smaller prizes would actually be given away legitimately. Cash would be the prize of choice.

Personally - I would much rather just get paid in full and get paid well. If you're pushing thousands of sales a week/day you can buy your own hummer and don't need it as a bonus.

As for prize incentives I would say again... why give them away if your program pays out well?

Don't give away prizes at all and therefore you can lower the shave required to cover them.

Just give us ALL of our sales. We'll buy our own goodies.

CASH IS KING FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT MAKING CASH .... if they are going to hand over an h3 to you better send a shit load of sales ... .the thing is they will give you that 1k in cash when you make them well over 1k and your self over 1k so it doesnt matter you woudnt care about the money then really .... so item's work alot better ....... but i say cash is good for people who are not really sending that many sales because they will more than likely reinvest that money RIGHT BACK into that sponsor unlike someone who is making 1k a day they will just wipe there ass with that money

brad if you are pushing in thousands of sales a week you wont notice that extra cash bonus. Seriously think about it ..... I've read threads where our ' big players ' talk about how they just have checks laying around there house they forget to cash and shit like that ... they dont need the extra money

for an upcoming what? An upcoming finish to the sentence?

most people who have ever won a plasma screen tv or some other big prize for most sales usually end up asking for cash instead. Shipping and being forced to a brand name or model you don't really want is a problem. People would rather have the cash to go out and buy a plasma screen tv that they actually want... or do something else with the money.

Sure cash is nice, and you can buy stuff from it, but for me it gives me a different feeling when people give me a XBOX instead of $200. Sure i can buy an XBOX from the $200 i won, but in my eyes when someone is giving me a XBOX it's much more worth to me, just because it's not money you're getting, but a piece of hardware.
