Howard Stern Discovers Consumption Junction

Howard's on the cutting edge

he just discovered Consumption Junction, second day in a row he's plugged the site. Today he also plugged Stile Project, another site he'd never heard of.

wonder what kind of traffic bump CJ got from the plug.

I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

Yes Howard plugged Stile Project today - the context was some funny videos his staff have been finding on sites like CJ and SP.
So after they discussed the videos, he asked KC the dim witted closet fag who is a producer on the show to give out the sites where listeners could find them. First two vids were at CJ, last one was Stile Project.

Howard is forgetful, if he had mentioned before Stile Project before he forgot the name cuz he wasn't familiar with either site.

Stern does rule. Not the way he used to but nobody can be on top for 25 years. Howard was at his peak in the early 90's, right before mainstream national media discovered him and then the movie.

if I were CJ or you Stile i'd try to hook up with Stern's production company, i used to do email with a couple of the people there and once suggested that they should bring CJ to cable television. Stile Project would work as well. Of course they didn't listen to me. Problem with doing a CJ or SP TV show is all those clips would have to be cleared - almost impossible task.

we don't get stern in canada anymore, unfortunately.

i remember when we had it here i would stream it from the radio to Dugmor in Montreal because it was cancelled there as well ;)

dude the entire Stern show is uploaded every day in MP3 format - u can listen to it the same day. alt.binaries.howard-stern - every day for years, the guys who do it never let the fans down.

They canceled Stern in MTL but he was still on in TO.

I was on the radio portion of Stern back in May of 1999. He mentioned my URL once and it damn near killed my server and my cc processors server. It was great! Im an old time Stileproject reader and a huge Stern fan. I was totally shocked when I was driving home at like 6am and heard not only CJ, but Stile get plugged!

Actually Howard has mentioned CJ many times and as far back as 2 years ago. On Wednesday he wanted to show an oops clip of a nip slip on Family feud. It was from the British version I think. Here it is.

Howard's really forgetfull - he probably has mentioned CJ and Stile before but he acted like he'd never heard of either before. He's a busy dude. Just signed with ABC to do a Barbara Walters type interview special. Cuz he's the best interviewer ever. Amazing it took a network this long to do this.

he's now trying to figure out who he wants - OJ Simpson would be the best, Clinton would be nice - he'll probably wind up doing Pamela Anderson *yaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn* , PDiddy *yaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn*

Steve Martin would be good, he's a big admirer of Stern so he'd do it. Most celebs will probably be scared to do it thinking he's going to go to the same places he does during radio interviews.

Yeah he's definitely an awesome interview. Like on Letterman...he totally turned the whole thing around, ended up interviewing him instead :p Bunch of celebs started copying him after that and doing the same thing.

Mutt, Think about this: Howard had a major lawsuit against ABC and a show called "Are you hot" that he claimed ripped him off on the idea. Now he inks a hefty prime time speacial with the same network. Ya think it's a backdoor settlement?
