iBill or CCBill with merchant account?

Ok, I have a merchant account that I want to run through a company who offers a good revsahre or affiliate program.

I have hunted around and found that ibill and ccbill are still available, but not sure they would work for my needs.

Can any users of ccbill or ibill answer this questiosn for me?

1). Can I use my merchant account with either of these (ibill' site says I can have my own merchant account but ccbills site didn't say) without paying the visa/mc yearly fees? (the whole reason one uses a true merchant account instead of 3rd party to start with).

I already have a ccbill account for 3rd party but don't use it, so I am wondering more about ccbill and using my own merchasnt account through them. If anyone knows appreciate your answer.

im guessing that its not a high risk merchant account that you have.

if you process high risk subscription transactions through your non high risk coded account, you will be fucked if your account raises any flags.

    anyways, epoch is good.

      You should try
      http://www.plugnpay.com
They have what they call plug-ins for having a membership subscription service, affiliate service, store, etc..

just so you know, at one point we did offer the sort of service that you are requesting, but that was discontinued a while back
If you need a good company for check writing services, then check out checkissuing, and for webhosting, check out Phoenix NAP

With more and more 3rd party processors going under you should bring it back, people like me with their own merchant accounts are in need of places with a good rep and good software to run our accounts through. I have 2 merchants accounts, I have maintained less then a 1% cb ratio since 1997 with both in the adult biz but neither have a good affiliate system built in nor do they work witht eh leased software or bought software I use

Ok I went with gbsgateway.com, they have excellent pricing per trans with no setup fees, no percentages and etc. for merchant accounts and 10-15% for 3rd party, they also have a good affiliate system built in.

Todd over there was awesome at getting us setup right away and was there to help us through it all, great person and great company, well recommended by me.

                  Thanks Todd you da man!!!!

I'd stick with brand name gateways, you get what you pay for in terms of service, and the smaller ones have smaller fraud DBs to scrub against.

You're crazy to go with iBill seeing how they recently got owned and several hosting companies had break-ins from the crackers due to iBill harvesting such sensitive data so poorly.

                                BrentD,

Paycom/Epoch offers gateway services with scallable scrubbing for those with their own merchant account. Registration fees, if any, are a funtion of your merchnat bank and not the IPSP.

You can use our gateway for high risk or non-high risk processing and there is no set up fee. Your only cost is a per transaction fee.

Drop us a line or give us a call if we can be of any assitance.

As long as you get your rebill database and your own merchant account(s), I would think the ball is always in your court no matter who you go with.

As far as fraud DB's go... larger databases that have been building up for nearly ten years might not be in your best interest either -- especially if the companies do a very aggressive scrub with those massive lists.

How long should someone be punished for charging back a deceptive $120+ charge after thinking they were going to be charged $2.99 for something anyway?

How many of those (legitimate) consumers are in your processors fraud list?

Can I use my merchant account with either of these (ibill' site says I can have my own merchant account but ccbills site didn't say) without paying the visa/mc yearly fees? (the whole reason one uses a true merchant account instead of 3rd party to start with).

Thanks, now if I could jsut get Pete with this software to make the netbilling work so it will send as a weblink and use your secure form instead of a non secure form in his software where it asks the customer to enter CC info without a secure sever and their software is setup to use it as secure...DOH!!!

Thanks for the quick setup, the only complaint I have so far is the looks of the merchant interface, but I can live with it

What is wrong with the interface? Our merchants love it?

                                                    Hello BrentD,

Jettis can help. We have a large number of clients with their own merchant accounts going through our gateway that are very happy with our affiliate tracking software. Our software is currently being used by Flyntdigital and Vividcash and is feature rich. Give us a call @ 1-800-4-JETTIS or float us an e-mail at [email protected].

I had got a high risk merchant account with my first business in 96. I had no credit at the time either. It doesn't hurt to try and get a merchant account. You'll either get it or you won't. The most you might lose is the application fee, if there is one.
