    Dell's Hidden Mail-in Rebate?

    I ordered a Dell laptop recently - it just arrived the other day & was supposed to come with a $100 mail-in rebate, however there was no rebate enclosed. WTF? Am I supposed to go somewhere on their website to get a rebate form? It seems they are really going way out of their way to make sure no one actually uses the mail-in rebate - 'because there is NOTHING about it in the packaging I received.

                  seriously though. you should call the sales support hotline, dell has great support and they'll probably be able to tell you how to get the rebate real fast.

                  in fact, lots of companies provide great support, including the one in my sig

                          I didn't order online - I talked to a rep & ordered on the phone. They're closed now - guess I'll find out what the deal is in the morning.

                                              Same problem here, just got my new desktop ... they do everything they can to make you forget they offered a rebate and if you DO remember they make it hard to figure out what to do.

                                              The website and tech lines will clear everything up though.

                                                  Dell rebates. It should be on the packing slip how much you are getting back, if not, call your sales rep and they can tell you.
