I'm not a big Ford fan myself but these cars are undeniable.
I know, I just saw the opportunity to use it.
Ford has been making some quality vehicles for years now. My brother's Mustang has 120,000 miles on it and it hasn't really given him any real problems other than fucked up automatic windows that continually break.
The new mustang is definitely a huge improvement over the past couple of models in my opinion, and I'm sure it will have plenty of power, but I would be more impressed if it handled well.

It will handle dramtically better, see american iron has roots dating back to when nothing mattered besides spanking you at a light or deserted street and could give a fuck about turning corners and G figures, who ever thought an 800 pound big block detroit iron was gonna corner? The europeans like their handling but in the scope of things never had power or focused on it, albeit the high end dollar cars.

I read an article about the '05 Mustang - they said the reinforced the frame, making it over 100% more rigid. The test drivers said it handles "flawlessly".
For around $25k (18k for a base V6, 28k for a decent V8) it's a good deal.
I just wish American car companies would follow up with decent warranties. I want 10 year/100,000 miles!
Bookmarked the thread. That's the best looking mustang ... ever

The new Mustang rocks. 300HP V8 engine for under $30k.
The dash colors can be changed into over 140 different colors. And when you open the door the windows lower an inch and close after you've shut the door to ensure a better seal.
I've had three brand new Mustangs in the past four years, and two Explorers - Never a single problem to date.

That's exactly what they were going for. You can really see the late 60's styling in the '05 front end. Especially the way the hood scoops over the headlights.
Everyone has bitched about the ass end from the beginning and you can see in the second set of pics I posted they have changed them a lot from the original design.
Once it hits production, they will probably change even more.
