    controversy.. is the link inside - a gay site?

    www.muscleweb.com

    as you can see on the main page it basically clearly states its a bodybuilding site.... lot of the pictures are obviously for the purpose of male modeling photography... but some of the guys that are featured are dressed in leopard speedos and shit...

    then again, in all bodybuilding contests, the guys basically wear thongs cause its the only way to show off their full physique without being naked.

    some of the people i'm having this debate over think the guys are gay because they're posing in "sexual" poses and are wearing designer / skimpy thongs and shit...

    i don't really think that... with 1/3 of porn surfers being female, i imagine some like seeing sites like this besides other bodybuilders.

    opinions?

    (this all started over me posting a pic of a dude: www.muscleweb.com/javier to show that that is the type of physique i want to have in time, which i see nothing gay about)

                      see, those pictures don't necessarily infer that they're gay.. lotta male models are asked to do those types of shoots for whatever reason, and its not only gay oriented either.

                                          ANY muscleman site is going to look "gay". Tis the nature of the beast.

                                          Of course..it is true that 60-70% of bodybuilders ARE gay (Gay men are obssesed with their looks..so natch! grin). So, I wouldn't worry about whether it looks "gay" or not..because even if it does..you'll bring in the gay crowd which as we all know are FABULOUSLY rich and will buy many many memberships which SHOULD make you happy!

                                              that's far from true. When a good friend was running one of the largest gay clubs of europe (playing trance music) and we were there every weekend for "protection" to prevent possible fights we had rarely seen gays having done at least a couple of months weight lifting. Pretty much all of them had in common the thin bodies.

                                                                                          It depends on what you consider a "gay" site. It's a bodybuilding site. It's not gay or straight. But of course, it would be appealing to gay surfers who are into muscles. If it's a membership/affiliate type deal, then I'd say gay traffic would definitely be your target.

                                                                                                  But the part about the % was a total joke..kinda suprised so many people took it seriously..like I'm REALLY going to know the %.

                                                                                                  But for the comment that few gay men are bodybuilders cuz they're just skinny isn't accurate either. We have ALMOST exclusive gay gyms in Seattle..so gay men DO get into bodybuilding.

The guys in the straight part are actually flexing and not just standing there trying to be cool
