whats the minimum age 35 right. I think thats why clinton did so well he looked younger back when he was elected

It takes a lot of $$$ to run for president. In order to get a lot of $$$ for it, it usually takes years of making promises to those who will give you that money. It's always been my opinion that there's no logical way you can be president now w/o being a liar - lies are what put you there.

Clinton and Kennedy both. I think JFK was the youngest ever.

its true, here we called it traditional politician, those who just know how to make promises but dunno how to make those promises into reality... i guess the young ones will surely change the political world.. the problem is.. where to get the funds?

Politics like anything else takes a while for you to get promoted, by the time you reach the level where you party will consider you as a bid for presidential candidate you are already an old fart, plus to move up that ladder of success garauntees that you will be a corrupt bastard thats in bed with the rest of them. The good old boys run things and they sure as hell wont let anyone else besides another good ole boy get o the top.

The only other choice is to fund your own campaign for government, which is something we are seeing a bit more often now, but its still a huge undertaking, and you still need party support, so that kind of also screens out the younger guys from the field.
