                                                                          That's great too. Also, keep all the agents & random talent's phone numbers on you on set. Agents have hot overpriced talent sitting around complaining about not working all the time calling them 24-7. Also, remind good models that alot of girls are irresposible flakes and that you appreciate them being - on time, prepared, well rested, & professional. Tell them that you may call them as a pinch hitter @ a moment's notice to work so that they should allways have all of thier gear on them or in thier car. I called thier shoot bag the $1000 suitcase because if they didn't have it with them at all times - then not having it would one day cost them $1000.

Then there are days (rare) when we book 3 models and they bring 4 friends along with them.

                                                                                                                  We do have a friend/companion/whatever allowed only on the first test shoot/application process. After that they are to show up to the shoot with no others. I also rarely if ever will shoot boyfriend/girlfriend, husband/wife, or model and guy with any sort of relationship. It is not that the scenes suck per say, it is they lack that special feeling or light or whatever you wish to call it.

                                                                                                                  You will never get better footage ussually than when two people hook up for the very first time. I personally like the nervousness, surprise and sense of the unknown it captures. With couples most of the time everything is to rutine.

                                                                                                                              I talked to some guys i know here in San Diego that shoot a lot of content for my sites, LegalPictures.com and the story's they tell me about models not showing up, airline tickets wasted and time lost is amazing. They paid for the flight of one model from NY to San Diego set up a castle location two make-up artists a stylist, lighting assistant, two male models and hired wardrobe and guess what even after getting a signed contract the model didn't show. The result was a loss of some $5000.00 plus a client who was waiting for the images. They have stopped using models found on the net and only use agency's now. Its seems to be worth the extra $100 per day for the piece of mind, knowing that the talent will show up?
