not always true. i haven't been 'scammed' in years (for anything worth complaining about) but in early 99. i just promoted a site, nothing 'scammy' about it, just a regular paysite. i made about 3000 bucks with them in a period. waited my check, waited...emailed them..nothing. of course i didn't know about boards back then, nor did i really know others in the industry so there wasn't anything i could do. i wasn't greedy. i do agree tho that if those ppl promoting the paris scam don't get paid, surely they knew it was a risk.you don't know you're wearing a leash if you sit by the peg all day..Comment
