Those who ALWAYS get their Hun confirmation emails

If you submit to the Hun fairly often and get the conf email EVERY time, could you please mention the host that your email account is hosted at, I may just get an account there....

i pretty sure it doesnt have nothing to do with your host.
as long as you use [email protected] its good.
as long as you don't use free hosts.
the problem is that in the last month or so, the hun server seems to be a bit jumpy or something, for the confirmation email tking up to 3 - 5 hours to be sent.
but im receiving every email eventually.
if you don't get them at all, then maybe your domains are blacklisted or something.
i would email Hun regarding for this if i where you.

They always come though ... I got my own server but I don't got a spam filter as I don't get much

The reason you probably don't receive a confirmation email is if you are submitting too often.

I have this problem as well since a couple weeks. I tried two different e-mails. Before I received them all.

i also have a problem receiving all of them.

i only get about 60% of them.
i used to get all of them.

I wouldnt submit with a free e-mail account. I know a few people who tried and didnt get listed. I always had good look with pay hosting and e-mail.

i get around 2-3 listings a month on the hun and i always got my confirmation emails. but just this last time, i submitted. and nothing.. weird. oh well...

And I do all my own hosting.

The only times I do not get listed is when I cannot confirm the email, because I did not receive it.

I suspect my host to be the reason for this, and I am looking to fix this, i.e. by changing the host. I'll do whatever is required. Just trying to nail down the problem

Is it my host, the upstream of my host, my email client or something else? I don't know

AFAIK Hurricane Electric where thehun.net is hosted on, has a rather relaxed attitude regarding outgoing spam. Meaning that other, over-sensitive providers may be blocking email originating in the HE network (if - which ever - other criteria are matched)

I may have to find a host with an upstream that does not interfere with my business like this

Please keep posting if you submit to the Hun frequently and have not missed a single confirmation email yet. Please mention the host
