Have you ever seen a welfare mom try to use one of those things at the checkout? When I lived in Louisiana it was pretty funny. They have "Louisiana Purchase" welfare debit cards and they often did not realize they needed a pin number.

That is absolutely the truth. Even if something happened to all of my income and my family I do have the comfort of knowing there is a local "soup kitchen" which is actually pretty well funded and stocked by local charities and churches and serves well balanced meals.

Slightly changing the subject that is why I was a bit miffed when Oprah said the other day that the saddest thing she ever experienced was the recent jury she was on and convicted a man of murder and plans to do a show on it.
