I am submitting galleries today..and have just recently gotten back into this whole scene..... and something is bugging the absolute FUCKING hell out of me... so YOU have to hear about it. LOL

If you want 50 fucking characters in the descriptions, SAY so... if there is a minimum, SAY so.... if there's a maximum..... FUCKING SAY SO already.. I am not a mindreader, at least not yet. LOL

I applaud those that have on their submission something like this:
minimum 25 - max 30 characters
THIS I understand, but I just submitted to one that I had to retry like 6 times before I finally got it right..... LOL

Yeah yeah yeah, it's YOUR tgp, but man, what a hassle..... LOL

i agree, half my time submitting is spent hitting the back button to adjust descriptions. After awhile I just setup advanced submitter with like 10 descrription fields. Some short, some long, others inbetween. Oh and don't forget the capitialzation rules too.

I miss the old days of TGP owners reviewing galleries without a script to do everything for them......

Yep, anyone thinking of getting into the gallery submission game better be uber-prepared to jump through a lot of stupid needless dumbass hoops from some of the TGP's out there. Submitting by hand actuall IS rocket science these days. I applaud anyone who has the patience and wherewithal for it.

Sykkboy...... NO SHIT. I like my scripts and everything... but I think some think they CANNOT edit them.... you CAN do this. Edit the fields if you have extra special rules.. I am fine with this. LOL

I have ended up just skipping them because I can't seem to get the right number of characters in the damn things.

Oh and another one I just ran into....... "Please copy the passcode in the field"....... HELLO!!!!!!!! Don't you think you should have the FUCKING module installed so I can SEE it? rotfl

I stopped submitting for a LONG ass time because it was getting a little bit of a headache..... NOW it is damn near impossible and I don't envy anyone that does this everyday. LOL

Mickey.. no kidding, I have hit that one a few times too.. I just take a wild guess and as my luck would have it, it's always the wrong one.

I USED to be guilty of this description thing myself, not putting it on my TGP, but someone hit me up and screamed at me about it, so I did it...... It was little things that would slip my mind, but I got it REAL damn fast when I started submitting again.

I hit one the other day that said my gallery couldn't be listed because the MAX amount of pics on it was 3 and I had 18..... I have NEVER seen a TGP, not even a TGP2 that wants only 3 pics on it. LMAO

I feel the same about linklists. Too many rules and nitpicking, I don't have time to jump through hoops to build sites to specifications of link list owners.

The time wasted trying to comply to their rules is better spent building other pages for surfers, and developing your own traffic.

I usually find the sites that make you jump through hoops end up sending fuck all traffic, the big sites make submiting easy

hosted flv's, hosted galleries, morphing rss feeds, free content, free sites, hosted blog

Another bitch: thumb TGP's who fail to put the desired dimensions for the thumb beside the box. There are a few out there like this, and you're supposed to guess whether they want the 88 or the 120 etc etc. Many fail to stipulate the file size limit as well. You hit submit, the script rejects you, you hit the back button and *poof*... all the data you had entered is gone and has to be redone.

That does suck, especially when it's a commonly used script that usually takes known values. The owner changes it to something odd and doesn't tell you.. what a waste of time.

I really hate the dorks that change their thumbnail sizes to be something totally bizarre, like 87x87, or 89x119. I guess they do that to stop auto-submitters, etc. But there are better ways to do that.

I don't mind making 6 - 10 different thumbnail sizes as long as they are reasonable.

I'm also getting sick of the 'graphic password security' gimmicks that have more than 4 characters, and the ones that are so hard to read you have to enter the damn thing three times. What's the point of asking you to type in 220800441477117 when manually entering ANYTHING will stop the problem? If software "AI" can figure out 4 characters, it can figure out 24 characters.

yep i totally agree with all of yall.... its ridiculous some of the rules, and the description shit. Some think they can do anything, but its the both of us who gotta make money: The submitter & the tgp owner, so FUCKING THINK ABOUT THAT
Plus muthafuckers declining without any reason, i already got on all my gals a console free sponsor and max 2 links to that sponsor. So why the FUCK ppl even fucking dare to decline it. Just list the goddamn gallery and shut the FUCK Up
