can you give a bit more info about colors and what kinda logo you want
Normally I design for a client and then I get a lot more info
Now I get a name, preferred colors and thats it
-for example : is it for t-shirts or just web, cartoon yes/no, symbol yes/no
etc...

Here are a few from me. I've included color and greyscale versions and I had an idea that you might make the greyscale version the standard version and show the color version on mouse over. Just an idea.
I wish I had more time for this one because I'm a total 80's NUT. Even my e-mail address shows it.
If I take another break from work later I'll see what I can come up with.
Glad I didn't go with the Rubix Cube idea, as I see someone just did it while I was working on my entry. Hehe.

As far as you not having time to make your own; that's just bullshit. I't took you longer to post numerous times here and review the entries than it would have taken you to do a logo worth $100. Face it, you're looking for someone who is better than you are and if you're good then that's not going to be easy.Good luck.

haha no sorry ... im posting from my laptop, i do not have any programs installed on this, and i cannot do any work on this machine, im trying to get things done for my cousins (who are not that skilled graphically) but they are putting together this mainstream project for me, as it really doesnt need to be too graphical, but i wanted a nice logo for it.
