My son's band will be recording their demo CD Feb 8th. Once that is finished who can help me get the CD into the right hands ? record companies etc. ?

if they think they will get it done in one day they are deaming, it takes a lot longer than you think, my band did one about a month ago, spent 2 day, 9-10 hours each day, got 4 tracks (20 mins) down, and the quality is nowhere near what we wanted, the sound quality was good but there are small errors in the actual playing because we didnt have time to redo stuff.

It's more than just finding record companies. They will need to play as many shows as possible and get exposure that way. If they are good, other bands will want them playing with them and then labels will find them.
How long have they been playing their instruments for? How long have they been in this band and band all together?
While it is good to know someone in the business, it is much more than that.
