    dental nightmare

let me rant here: im frustrated, in pain and everone is sleeping so..! let this be a warning for you!!

My dentist advised me 2 years back to have my wisdom teeth
removed. I told him to go fuck himself. I'd rather have myself
captured by hostile muslims in some middle east country.

Anyway.. the last year i had regular pain that lasted for weeks
but nothing a tylenol couldnt fix until this night:

i fell asleep at 2 AM and woke up at 4 with the feeling someone
shot a bullet through my head.

So i got out of bed took some meds but an hour later i realised
that didnt do shit anymore so.......i called the emergence dentist
to make an appointment 30 minutes later.

He told me my wisdom tooth (or what was left of it) infected
the roots of the tooth next to it so i had to have both pulled.
Which he did and trust me that aint funny. Just got back
and it still bleeding like shit.

So kids, if your dentist tells you you should have your WT removed, DO IT or youll end up like me.

    Thanks for your time

MrPheer, they are there and they will come out, if they don't it means you have learned nothing in your life,

I was missing them also. They told me when I was a kid I would never have them.

uhm, your jaw bone must have been in danger of severe infection or shattering because they NEVER remove infected teeth. They always want to clear it before pulling anything. Even more reason to believe you did the right thing by getting it pulled tonight! There is no fucking pain lke tooth pain. I feel for ya man! Mine was like burning hell!. The whole mouth, even tongue and neck and cheeks and ears burned!!! Like clorox bleech was in my veins. All becuase ONE nerve was pinched under my tooth.

I bet the pain you feel now is nothing compared to the previous pain though. I waited 3 fucking years to get my bad WT pulled. It got the point not even fucking diladids could soothe me. I took meds to clear infection, then 3 months later finaly went to get tooth pulled.

10 seconds of MASSIVE pressure then the pain was GONE in one snap. I left that dentist office smiling and giddy like a school girl. The pain was completely gone! It bled for 24 hours and I loved it. No pain at all from that second forward. I cannot wait to get my second one pulled which is just now starting to act up.

I had all of my wisdom teeth taken out at one time.
I NEVER want to go through that again!
They never bothered to tell me even how a teabag placed in the bleeding gums could stop the bleeding.

It was a mess needless to say. Looked like I had butchered a couple of people and had them all over me by the time I got home from the dentists office.

                      Brrr...

Indeed: the pain i have now is just caused by the open wound left by the removed tooth but NOTHING compared to the demon that assaulted my jaw for months before i got them pulled.

This pain actually feels like fun

You guys, did you choose just local anasthesia or did you opt to full anasthesia to be put to sleep and if so why? And did the dentist give stitches, and if so was it painful and did you feel it?

I've heard that being put under anasthesia can be quite risky, some people go in a coma and never wake up, and some people have died from a bad reaction to the anasthesia

Had the exact same thing happen recently.

For years i have had problems with my back right wisdom tooth about every 6 months it would act up. But they told me that to get it out would mean major surgery ( maxaofillian facial surgery )and i was in south america at the time and 1/10 people die during the operation there so i waited it out and waited, and sure enough the infection from the wisdom tooth infected the one next to it. So last month i had both wisdom teeth removed on both sides plus the fucked up one. No more pain at all, plus i already had more teeth in my mouth than i was supposed to so i actually have a better bite now

My front teeth are another story i got hit in the face with a baseballl bat when i was 21 and had all 4 of my front teeth snapped off at the ends, they dont hurt at all , but every 2 years they cost me a few grand to fix .

                                    *cherish your teeth.

BTW when i had mine removed they didnt bleed much at all , bled for about 8 hours then it was fine.

                                      local anasthesia / no stiches.

Full an. would be a dumb thing to do for a rather simple
                                      job like this.

And i didnt feel a thing. It was quick and painless only thing left
was the crunching sound of your teeth being ripped out of your
                                      jar bone .

Just shots in the mouth , and it didnt hurt one iota.

The next day it was a tad tender after i woke up.

My brother had to get stitches when he had hid done because of the bleeding but he didnt feel a thing either.

except for the fact your WT is a bit harder to get a grip on
theres not much difference between a normal
tooth and a WT. At least in my case..

There's no need to get full anesthesia for dental work unless you're the type that faints in the chair.
I've had 7 teeth pulled at the same time and it was all local anesthetic. No big deal. After the needles go in you feel like your lips are sticking out 6 inches but you can't feel a thing.

To avoid the dentist because you "heard" that some people are allergic to anesthesia is pure stupidity. Some people are allergic to peanuts too, are you going to stop eating them? Oh, and better stay off of the grass. Some people are allergic to that as well.
