I know what you mean.

We have thousands of Asian Videos and in my opinion only a handful look like they are enjoying it. However, when I talk to my colleagues they tell me differently. yes... thailand actually does still produce some killer weed, but i doubt much of what is grown there makes it stateside these days... the new drug laws against trafficing in thailand are really draconian, death sentences for natives caught distributing... if you are in thailand you can usually get some friendly expatriate to score for you; however, most natives will be fairly leery about hooking you up..
