i don't have a significant other at the moment. the girls i have been with have been cool with it for the most part. only one made issue with it but once she realized i wasn't going to change what i was doing for her, she didn't make it much of an issue.
the way i see it is if you meet the person and they are already in the industry, making sites or whatever you can't expect them to change for you. this is how you met them and if you don't like what they do, don't get involved. now i can see it as being something of a problem if you are with a person for 5-10-whatever years and you decide you want to get into porn, your significant other might feel threatened by this, and uncomfortable with the social taboo around porn. depends on what kind of background the person came from, ect. not all of us are so open minded about things.you don't know you're wearing a leash if you sit by the peg all day..Comment

Oh and those two days he spent with me? He was on my travel cam being broadcast to all of my members. (Yes I have the model release) After a few visits between here (Phoenix) and there (San Diego) he ended up moving in with me. That was a year and a half ago. Today, he and I both are in the industry and we love it. We aren't so much talent anymore as we are a photography/videography team for a few companies. To answer your original questions, my significant other loves what I do, he found out by waking up to a JVC Cyber Cam in his crotch, he reacted by wanting to surf porn and tell all of his buddies he was a 'porn star' and today he is still an asshole (that does the dishes and realizes cumming on que ain't all it's cracked up to be). my husband has no problem at all with me working in porn. I started working in it after we met and it has allowed me to work from home and look after him as he gets older and his disablity gets worse.
It is just like any other industry AND it works as a good way of screening friends.
