Traffic Trade Rantings ~ What pisses you off?

I wanted to start a thread where people can rant about traffic trades. To start it off, I got a few things that piss me off...

1) Why do people join my trade and don't bother to read the rules? If they do read the rules, why do they join my top list anyways? I spend at least an hour a day reviewing new listings and deleting almost half of them.

2) New sites on my top list usually get 500 people from me the first day, so why do trades give me the WORST spot on their pages? I've started to deactivate sites that just join to get free traffic and send me the min.

3) Why can't people send me what I send them? When I send them less to match what they're sending me, they start send me even less.

What pisses you off about traffic trades?

An idea too, why dont you make a min to trade with you, say 100 a day? Then at least you wont get poxy sites sending in poxy clicks

What pisses me off about traffic trades is when you startup a "new site" and do your best to send all of what little traffic you have to your best trade by giving them multiple spots on your site and they delete you because you cant send them enough. I hate that shit.

I have had a few situations where people just make everything so difficult. I don't have a traffic trading script, nor a long list of rules. It's just a hardlink - you put mine on yours and I do the same. I have had too many situations where we've had to bounce back multiple ICQs/emails just to get it sorted out.

"Sorry, I don't understand you"
"Okay, what do you want me to do?"
"I can't put a link up, my site doesn't support RSS" (huh?)
etc. etc.

You'd be amazed (or maybe not!) at how difficult this hardlink concept is to grasp for some!

I agree, I am having a difficult time with this. I set my trade script for only 3 uniques a day to not be disabled and it disabled most of my trades, now my list is almost emty.

If they don't send any hits in I can't send any hits out to them or to any other trades then the good trades end up disabling me because I am not sending enough hits. The new guys got it rough.

if anyone can send me just three hits a day please help me out and sign up for my trade.

i hate skimmed traffic, blog traffic gets on average 280-400% prod, skimmed tgp traffic gets 80-110% prod. and blog is mostly clicked

One of the most annoying things at least for me is when people signup for a trade and then just sit there..

They don't send you any traffic to get things going and they don?t ICQ or email to let you know they have signed up and want to start sending traffic.

Just sit there occupying space in my databases doing nothing.

I delete trades like that right away.

well.. i am new to TGPs and its was shocking in the last few days finding out how difficult it is to trade with some people.

some where just taking my traffic and not returning any traffic some returned traffic that has 0 production.

but i think i got the handle on this. after reading i understood i needed to put a lot more trades and clean out the crap after.

so they steal some traffic but that's the last time they will ever get links from my sites
