All I'm trying to do is save this little video clip and upload. For some reason I can't save it as avi at all cuz it won't let me. Plus even if it did it would be too damn big. If I opened it in photoshop 7 or something is there a way to save it as mpg? Or can I even do it straight from my camera?

I know total dumb question but I'm frustrated and this is taking forever

Photoshop? You mean Premiere, right? I'm pretty sure you can change it to MPG in premiere, but never heard anything about being able to open avi files with Photoshop

If you can't save it as an AVI then why are you asking how to convert an AVI to MPG?

this program converts AVI to MPG and you can specify the finished size in mbs.
