You are not paying for the car when you buy a Maybach. You are buying a prestige symbol. When you pull up in a $400k car you are saying "I have more money than you, and your whole family combined" but without saying a word.
Looks wise it does not compare to some of the other cars out there but as a sign of wealth you cannot go much higher (even the enzo isnt really much better cause the maybach comes with a chauffer and u actually have to drive the ferrari)
