OK! This is just disgusting (pic from internext). Some of us webmasters need to lose some serious weight or there are going to be a lot of heart bypass surgeries in our futures.

I know this seems like a troll but it is a serious issue. We need to eat better and exercise more.

In reality though...who really gives a fuck. If I am happy with myself, which I am, who cares. Does my being a "fatass webmaster" hurt you? Does it make you cry in your pillow at night? Probably not. I enjoy Big Macs and fries...I like cheesecake with chocolate syrup on top. Who gives a fuck? The day I live my life to satisfy what others consider "Normal" is the day I sellout. Fuck you and your opinion lol.

While we are on the subject, let's go ahead and call out the webmasters with pimple faces, or glasses, or greasy ass hair, or the chicks in this biz with fucked up faces, or raggedy looking pussies, or lopsided tits. How old are you? The younger you are, the higher your metabolism usually is.

Also keep in mind that being thin doesn't automatically mean you are healthier. you still have to take care of yourself. There are plenty of 150ers out there with 90% blockages in their arteries who don't know it.

I wasn't happy with myself, because I had a hard time walking. And I enjoy doing things. Just walking 5 blocks was hard on my legs and I was out of breath.

I don't walk anywhere. I am wheeled around in a large wagon by a few of my neighbors and I have an engine dolly bedside so I can get in and out.

It's just one of many factors that contribute to your risk of early death. BTW, people who eat a lot of cheese also tend to be fat. I have known of bodybuilders with perfect bodies who dropped dead of heart attacks in their 30s/40s. Minimize every risk you can. You only get once change at life.

Well this is how I equate it. I did heavy concrete construction for the better part of 10 years. The entire time I was out there, I worked on average probably 12-16 hours per day, in the hot ass sun, most of the time 6 days a week. I climbed forms, I lifted heavy rebar, I shovelled concrete, I hung from the side of buildings 100 feet in the air. In that entire time, I stayed the exact size I am now. Not one pound less. I don't eat like crazy. Infact, sometimes, I will go the entire day when I get really busy and forget about meals totally and end up eating only one meal that day. I just chalked it up to genetics and called it good. Fuck it.

With all that exercise, I imagine you were in pretty good shape despite the extra pounds. You probably have a lot of muscle.

Not really. There are a lot of factors that play a role in good health. Some, like genetics, age, and sex, you can't do anything about. Others, like weight and smoking, you can. Why be fat if you don't have to be?
