Had a blast. It was my first Dead show. It's a totally different vibe than anything else I've ever been to. Thanks to Doug at AXZAR for hooking me up with the ticket.
I'm Jealous-they came through my town when I was at internext.
Saw them twenty times in the old days and still have the stub from the last show with Jerry at Soldier Field...he died two days later!...guess I show my age!
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

sorry to break it to you dude, Jerry died a few years ago
I saw them in oakland in 93. My friend were into them and I didn't know any of their songs. I had a great time. I've been to about 75 concerts and they were in the top 15 .

Been seeing the Dead since 79, first show at Madison Square Garden...
People have been dying in the band for years, and even though I was, am, and will always be a major Jerry freak (play Dawksta' Jerryyyyyyyyy!) I think they are still incredible...it just takes two guitarists to fill Jerry's pick...
Originally posted by Goatse The Dead without Jerry must be like huh... Van Halen without Eddie, or Floyd without Rog and Dave. lol
no, actually, it's pretty good. Bob Weir and the boys hold up very well. I saw them at the further fest in alpine valley Wisconsin back in 99 (i think it was 99) and it was awesome. I was very surprised at how good it was.
