Also, I've had no training whatsoever....everything regarding html and photoshop I've taught myself, with the noted exceptions of the tips I've received here. Pick on them if if makes you feel better, but I'm impressed with myself for having just started this less than six weeks ago.

If because of the kids, you only have half an hour of free time to make sites, and you make one of these each day, that's a different matter. Shouldn't have said it takes you a day then though
This is not a matter of professional training or anything... almost nobody in this business had professional training. I should know, I taught myself programming on a bloody calculator because I didn't have a computer
The point is, if sites like that would take you an entire day, you'd be doing a big list of things wrong. Even without automation, sites like those shouldn't cost more than 20, 30 minutes tops to make.
