Yeah, he's a good guy and he wouldnt cheat anyone out of money.

I do know he was incredibly busy before Internext and worked his ass off trying to make everyones order. If I get ahold of him i'll pass the message on.

Chad had a problem with his Dryer breaking down in the middle of my order( it got fubarred ) He did not comple my order eighter. He has offered the shirts that he has printed to me at no charge. I refused the offer, told him to complete the job when his equipment is fixed. He is not going to rip you off, I feel he is an honest person, who ran into a bit of bad luck.

BULLSHIT

I paid for my order on July 14 and was told on icq that the shirts would be run on the following tuesday; in plenty of time.

Not only was I mislead, but I had to hunt him down at the show and find out at 1am on Friday morning that my order was not completed. I was also told that my money would be returned the next day.

For somebody so 'upstanding' why did I have to chase him all over the place and why do I not have my money?

Keep in mind that this is about much more than the refund. I flew a model down from Canada to hand out the shirts. My staff also had to go & buy clothes, since we all packed planning on wearing our company shirts all week. All of this is on top of the incalculatable amount lost on losing the promotional opportunities.

A true professional would have gone to his competition if needed, just to complete the order. He would not have showed up at the show, made me seek him out and shrugged out a pathetic story about how overworked he was over the last few days.

Just because a guy is fun to hang with does not make him worthy of doing business with. It's shady & shoddy behaviour like this that hurts all of the smaller suppliers on this board. In the future I will take my business off the board, and to where there is some accountability.

Holy moly!

Chad is a total stand up guy! Shit happens and I know for a fact that he was looking for certain people. He wouldn't run away from shit. I know that he was looking around for people phone numbers, I know that he was at a dinner when he was contacted by someone. I know that Chad will come through and fix whatever issues there are left to resolve. He is a good business man, for christ sakes he totally undersold his shit for everyone, if anything that was one of his mistakes.

Perhaps if he wasn't so ready to make everyone happy and shit none of this would have happened. Like Shann said there are two sides to every story.

I couldn't care less about him trying to make other people happy. He mislead me and caused irreperable harm to my business. If my order had been run when he said it would, or even if he had made an effort to contact me, I might have had an alternative. I'm not terribly hard to track down, especially since I was right next door to his drinking buddies. My business card was in the envelope with my check, and my phone number is on my site.

I made a point to bring more than one set of clothes just in case I did'nt feel like wearing the same shirt everyday... Its a good Idea you should try it sometime.

I have only had a good relationship with Chad....we have never drank or partied together and I still have only good things to say about him.

He promised me shirts as well.. but it seemed almost everyone hit him up for shirts... so christ the dude over booked himself. I can only say one thing

Holy Shit!!!!! Good luck on taking a chance and starting a shirt company. It might of sounded far fetched when I heard it but christ you are busy as shit. Hire more shirt making monkeys so good honest webmasters who bring no clothes with them can have something to wear..... hell a model from Canada damn I live up here we very rarely have more than one set of clothes to wear so I feel her pain....

Considering you are talking about myself and the other person who shared that room. I had no idea that it was you that he was looking for or visa versa. And I am not entirely sure where you get the idea that we are "drinking buddies". I am aware that he was looking for your phone number and unfortunately I do not have that in my cell phone.

Regardless, My post was not a personal attack on you, from what I've read you are not the only unhappy person. With that being said, I am allowed to make a comment on my experience's with Chad on a personal and professional level. I'm not making excuses nor do I ever (sure perhaps the "undersold shit" comment, but it was more of an inside joke than anything). It's unfortunate that things turned out the way they did for you, but do not personally attack me. Everyone else spoke their mind and I too will do the same regardless of the situation.

As for his side of the story I am sure that we all will hear it.

I tried to let everyone know as soon as I knew that I would not be able to finish all the orders. I got ahold of everyone except you before I left Tuesday. I fucked up by not keeping your contact info handy. I tried to find someone who knew you or had your phone # but had no luck. I didn't think about looking on your site for the contact info. Too much shit was going on and I didn't even think of it. When we finally ran into each other you freaked out and ran off. You called me during dinner Saturday night and I told you to call me back in an hour and I would meet you in the lobby but you never called back. This was a communication issue and I did the best I could under the circumstances. I fucked up and I'm sending your $200 back so that you can get on with your life.
