BULLSHIT
I paid for my order on July 14 and was told on icq that the shirts would be run on the following tuesday; in plenty of time.
Not only was I mislead, but I had to hunt him down at the show and find out at 1am on Friday morning that my order was not completed. I was also told that my money would be returned the next day.
For somebody so 'upstanding' why did I have to chase him all over the place and why do I not have my money?
Keep in mind that this is about much more than the refund. I flew a model down from Canada to hand out the shirts. My staff also had to go & buy clothes, since we all packed planning on wearing our company shirts all week. All of this is on top of the incalculatable amount lost on losing the promotional opportunities.
A true professional would have gone to his competition if needed, just to complete the order. He would not have showed up at the show, made me seek him out and shrugged out a pathetic story about how overworked he was over the last few days.
Just because a guy is fun to hang with does not make him worthy of doing business with. It's shady & shoddy behaviour like this that hurts all of the smaller suppliers on this board. In the future I will take my business off the board, and to where there is some accountability.
