Society tells her that its cool to take drugs and almost die. You think people in the business don't tell her the opposite? I'm not naive I know there are tons of people in this biz who take drugs and get fucked up at some parties. Thats their problem. As long as they keep that shit away from me and the people I care about they can kill themselves if they wish.

Sad to hear about this and I hope she turns out ok. A couple things.

1st- I think the drug war is easily one of, if not the most fucked up thing this country has done as it has caused our politicians and USSC to take the constitution and wipe their asses with it. Generally I don't care what someone does in terms of drug use though I'm sad to see it get out of control.

2nd- In general I think AVN and others should acknowledge that the industry does have some problems. Kinda reminds me of babseball and the denial of steroid use in it, which I am sure amny sports fans here rail against. That doesn't mean it has to be a crusade or that they should splash stuff like this all over the place though.
