                  to be more specific, i'm not saying that someone should mix straight and gay traffic on their sites, they can easily seperate the two and promote them on different sites.

                                  i think people get better traffic results with stuff they relate to or fantasize about because they know where there target audience is and what they like to see ect..

                                  take the gay niche for instance.

                                  I have no problems with promoting gay sites but I dont "really" know what turns another guy on other than the obvoius, so i'd rather know what my audience wants and specifically what they dont want, it more than a banner and a few pics - My point being is that a gay guy would have an edge over a straight guy in promoting a gay site for the obvious reasons.

If promoting watersports wouldn't be considered such "high risk" in the US, I would promote that too even though I don't like it.
