It depends on the price of the trial. I remember when I was promoting college fuck fest, they had a $5 trial on exit. Don't remember exact figures, but I was impressed at the time with the % of conversions to full memberships.Comment

I send one sign up and get $15 without trials; but with trials I send 3 signups and get $9.00 because too many surfers cancel.Good luck.

I usually promote per signup, but in my not so vast experience with recurring programs, I saw it was hard to say what exactly to promote. A program is giving the opportunity to choose among 3 day trials, 7 day trials, 15 day or 30 day direct signup (i.e. with no trial), if you choose the 1 month option, you recur better, but it's harder to get signups, for trials, you get more signups, but with many cancels, in the end it's like this: do you want to make a sure buck, even if just a few, or don't care for change and go only for higher amounts?$9.95/month for 15000 GB bandwidth monthly, unlimited (sub)domains and MySQL5, PHP4/5, 500 GB disk storage!

I try to do full signups on revshare only for very nice high quality sites. Cuts down on sales ALOT but damn people love rebills

I would take NO trials if
1) The site has exclusive content
2) The site is in a relatively untapped niche
3) The membership fee is reasonably priced

I dislike trials because alot of signups just cancel before they are billed full price.
I'd rather have 4 signups/day who directly paid then 10 trial signups.
Revshare seems better then PPS in theory but in reality I like PPS better.
I know some sites retain like crazy and they are a real gem to find, but on average most paysites retain for shit.

PPS may be DRAMATICALLY changed pretty soon as the VISA CB rule's effect kick in and maybe another lowering of the treshhold to less than 1%
